WHAT DO I NEED FOR LAX CAMP?

All LaxStar campers NEED a lacrosse stick, eye goggles, a mouthguard, and a water bottle. We will not have extras on-site, so make sure you bring this equipment to camp with you.

LaxStar Returns to Georgetown Visitation!

Trinity University Head Coach Sarah Schermerhorn will direct LaxStar, now in its third year at Visitation. Read more about Coach Schermerhorn below.

Spaces are limited in what might be our most popular program at Visitation. Sign up individually or as a team. We offer team discounts to groups of five or more.* Register now to reserve your spot!

LaxStar Schedule

Program	Dates	Details
LaxStar	6/21-6/25 6/28-7/2 7/5-7/9	For girls, ages 8-14 of all ability levels, from 9:00 am - Noon.
LaxStar Elite	7/12-7/16	This is an elite program for girls, incoming 9th graders and experienced 8th graders, who want to get ready for their high school tryouts. Note: the elite camp runs from Noon - 3:00 pm.

*Groups of five or more must contact our office and request brochures or download and fill out our printed brochure. To receive the group discount, the name of the pre-approved group must be written clearly in the registration area of the brochure. Payment may only be submitted by check. This offer cannot be combined with other discounts.

Meet the Director:

Sarah Schermerhorn

Sarah will direct the LaxStar Camp during the summer of 2010. Sarah is currently the head women’s lacrosse coach at Trinity University in Washington. She had a stand-out four-year varsity lacrosse career at the Gunnery School in Washington, CT where she was selected as an All-American. She received a scholarship to play as a starter on Vanderbilt’s first NCAA Division I female lacrosse team. She is adept at teaching the sport’s fundamentals and intricacies to players of all levels and her focus is on positive reinforcement. Sarah is a native of McLean who attended The Potomac School, before Gunnery. She is a certified firefighter paramedic as well.
