This program is designed for players who have limited to no experience with the sport. During the 8 week period, you will learn how to hold the racket properly for the various shots in tennis. You will also learn the 5 main shots in tennis and how they are utilized during a point. Towards the last weeks of the session, the coach will go over point scoring and match play.  

We are planning to hold this class Fridays from 7-8pm. From 8-9pm we will offer an optional open play after class where players can continue to work on what they have learned in the class with fellow classmates. This will be unfacilitated open play. The coach may or may not be present for this portion.
