Visitation Programs


SUMMER CAMPS Sign up for summer camp at Visitation here! We offer a range of summer programs at Visitation. Each camper needs to submit these forms once per summer. They can be found online here. LOCATION/DIRECTIONS GEORGETOWN VISITATION PREPARATORY SCHOOL 1524 Thirty-fifth Street NW Washington, DC 20007 From the Maryland suburbs: Go South on Wisconsin Avenue to Georgetown. Turn right on Volta Place (just after "Q" Street and before "P" Street). Volta Place will end at 35th Street, and the entrance to Visitation will be directly opposite you. Enter through the gate; stop at the Guardhouse and the guard will tell you where to park. From Virginia via the Key Bridge: Cross Key Bridge into Georgetown. Stay in the middle lane; turn right onto "M" Street. Stay in the left lane and proceed approximately two blocks. Turn left at the light on 33rd Street. Continue on 33rd street to Volta Place; turn left and proceed to the end of Volta Place. The entrance to Visitation will be directly opposite you. Enter through the gate; stop at the Guardhouse and the guard will tell you where to park. From downtown Washington, DC: Take Pennsylvania Avenue west to "M" Street. Follow "M" Street to Wisconsin Avenue and turn right. Proceed five blocks up Wisconsin Avenue and turn left on Volta Place. Volta Place will end at 35th Street, and the entrance to Visitation will be directly opposite you. Enter through the gate; stop at the Guardhouse and the guard will tell you where to park. Advantages: Play tennis in a pastoral hilltop setting Great Washington view In the heart of Georgetown Clinics and private lessons provided Organized singles and doubles leagues Four hard courts Parking available on campus COURT RESERVATION SCHEDULE RULES/REGULATIONS SINGLES LEAGUE (starts in May!) DOUBLES LEAGUE (starts in May!)	Reservations: Court reservations are accepted for weekday and weekend court time. Courts may be reserved for up to one hour for singles and two hours for doubles. Priority is given to adult members. Children of family memberships may reserve courts when playing with parents, but may play anytime with other children when there are open courts. Court reservations may be made in person or by telephone, no more than one day in advance. Members may reserve one court at a time. During April, play is first-come first serve, aside from the times when the girls team is practicing or playing matches. Reservations are taken by phone for weekend play from May through October, and are first-come, first-served on weekdays in May, September, and October. During the school year, the high school team occupies the courts from 3:00 - 6:00 pm on weekdays. When the girls have home matches, the courts open after all matches conclude. During the summer months, reservations are accepted seven days a week, for hours when summer camp is not in session (8:30 am- 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday). The tennis camp runs from June 15th through July 24th. The courts will also be closed during the Holy Trinity Mass and picnic on June 14th, from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, and during the weeks of the Visitation sports camps (8/17-8/21, 8/24-8/28).
		LESSON INFORMATION LESSON QUESTIONNAIRE
	Attire: Members and guests are requested to wear conventional tennis attire. A proper shirt must be worn at all times. Only tennis shoes or non-marking all- court shoes are permitted on the courts (no running shoes). Changing areas and bathrooms are available.	MEMBERSHIP FEES* Family Membership: $375.00 Single Membership: $300.00 Guest Fee: $4.00 per guest
	The use of alcoholic beverages on the campus is forbidden.	Memberships will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until all spaces are filled. Payment must accompany each application. The Membership is non-refundable and non-transferrable. Please make checks payable to Georgetown Visitation.
